Yale offers a superior residential experience, with the vast majority of students remaining on campus throughout their education. The renovations will build on this experience, modernizing and reconfiguring the living environment to meet accessibility and safety codes. In addition, infrastructure changes will be made to accommodate wiring for computers, cable television, phones, and Internet access. A typical suite encompasses one common room and three to five bedrooms. The bedrooms include a bed, closet space for personal belongings, and a desk. The renovations will aim to provide ample housing options, including singles for senior students.
