Special Collections Exhibit Area

The Special Collections Exhibit Area will feature rotating exhibits of the Library’s treasures. This exhibition area is located one level beneath the ground level, near the Atrium and the Special Collections Reading Room. Some of the treasures to be exhibited will include materials from the Arts of the Book and the Drama Library collections, as well as the Faber Birren Collection of Books on Color, which includes materials ranging from the 16th century to the contemporary era with important editions by René Descartes, Isaac Newton, Moses Harris, M.E. Chevreul, and C.S. Greenough, among others. The Special Collections Exhibit Area promises to be an area of great interest to many Library patrons.
