Samuel Morse College

Morse College, named for telegraph inventor Samuel F.B. Morse Class of 1810, housed its first students in September 1962 and was dedicated the following December. Morse and its neighbor, Ezra Stiles, were designed in a contemporary style by architect Eero Saarinen. Among the highlights of the renovation of Samuel Morse College is the creation of many more suites, more closely replicating the living experience of Yale’s other residential colleges. The renovation is currently scheduled to begin in summer 2009.

Numerous recognition opportunities will be available to alumni, parents, and friends who wish to support the revitalized Samuel Morse College.
