The School of Public Health and Yale College have launched an innovative program that awards students interested in the field of pubic health a B.A. or B.S. and an M.P.H. in five years, rather than the six years usually needed to obtain both degrees. The program is designed to impart a broad understanding of the factors that shape the health of populations and to equip students with the tools and skills to become leaders in public health. The response from Yale College students has been overwhelmingly positive.
