Drug Discovery Research Fund

$ 100,000   200 opportunities

Drug discovery has the potential to thwart all types of disease and is the desired end application of many research programs at the School of Medicine. Yale has a long history of identifying molecular compounds that have been developed into live-saving drugs for the treatment of viral illnesses, specifically HIV, and cancer. Pharmacological approaches presently being used include medicinal chemistry, high throughput screening of large chemical libraries and the use of protein structure for drug design.
