Many diseases occur only in women or express themselves differently in women than in men. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Women’s Health Research at Yale (WHRY) program conduct interdisciplinary scientific investigations examining women’s health. These research programs have led to rapid advances in the treatment of ovarian cancer and infertility and have produced an ever-widening body of knowledge to the benefit of women everywhere.
