Cellular Neuroscience, Neurodegeneration and Repair Research Fund
$ 100,000 200 opportunities
As people live longer, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s have become more prevalent. Yale has had a long tradition of excellence in the neurosciences. Recognizing the importance of neurodegenerative diseases, Yale formed the interdepartmental program in Cellular Neuroscience, Neurodegeneration and Repair, addressing how the normal brain functions in concert with basic studies on the mechanisms responsible for neurodegeneration and strategies for repair of the injured brain and spinal cord.
