Woolsey Hall Memorial Organ Maintenance Fund
$ 100,000 15 opportunities
The Newberry Memorial Organ was built in 1901 by Hutchings, improved mechanically and almost doubled in size in 1915 by Steere, and entirely rebuilt and greatly enlarged in 1928 by the Skinner Organ Company. One of the largest most outstanding instruments of this period, it is utilized throughout the academic year for student organ recitals, organ crawls, gala events, and concerts. Gifts to endow the maintenance of this magnificent organ will ensure that it can be enjoyed by generations to come.
