Multiple opportunities
One of the single most important elements to the transformation of the School of Engineering is the construction of a new state of the art research facility to promote the most promising interdisciplinary research at Yale. To this end, the University is planning to construct a high technology research building. This facility will be equipped with shared and flexible laboratories enabling greater collaboration among Yale’s engineers as well as with other disciplines. This new building will provide transformative research, education, and training opportunities for our undergraduates, graduate fellows, and faculty. Donor support will not only equip existing research teams to break new paths in science and engineering, but also assist efforts to recruit the world’s best researchers to Yale’s growing faculty and place Yale as a leader among its peers. As planning for a new engineering building unfolds, Yale will seek lead gifts to construct and maintain the facility.
