Freshman Preorientation Program Endowment

This gift will endow the group of preorientation programs, which are an important introduction to Yale College and their classmates for the majority of freshmen. An endowment would allow the Dean of Yale College and the Assistant Dean of Freshman Affairs to spend income for those preorientation programs with the greatest need in a particular year. Alternatively, some donors may prefer to direct their gifts toward a specific preorientation program. Currently there are five preorientation programs: Cultural Connections, Freshman Outdoor Orientation Trips (FOOT), FreshPerson Conference, Harvest, and Orientation for International Students.
