Undergraduate International Summer Award Program (Current-Use)

$ 50,000   Multiple opportunities

The International Summer Award (ISA) Program makes it possible for every undergraduate who receives term-time financial aid to participate in one Yale-approved summer opportunity abroad. This current-use gift will fund one or two years of ISAs for up to twenty students. These fellowships will be organized around a region, a language, a discipline, or a particular type of experience. The ISA provides the summer income contribution expected of students on financial aid for those participating in Yale-administered summer international activities. In addition, a percentage of program expenses, based on level of need, are awarded to students participating in four programs: international internships, Yale Summer Session study abroad, Yale-in-London study abroad, and certain study and research abroad fellowships administered by the International Education and Fellowship Program.
