Language Resource Fund for the Dean of Yale College

The philosophy behind Yale’s language instruction is that students should reach at least an intermediate level of foreign language—and those arriving at Yale at that stage should travel a further distance. Gifts to this endowed fund will help the Dean of Yale College direct resources where they are most needed to improve language learning. A variety of purposes may be supported, such as developing new language courses, encouraging innovation in teaching, developing a cadre of superb and committed language instructors, supporting student requests for newly identified needs, and more. Ready and flexible, such funding is vital to respond to new language education opportunities.
