Health Studies Course Development Endowment

This endowment will support ten annual courses that explore contemporary health-related issues of national and global importance and will expand opportunities for health studies in Yale College. Faculty from Yale College and the professional schools are meeting to plan a program allowing students to pursue a second major in health studies and to develop a vigorous array of health studies offerings. Examples of courses are a well-received new seminar, The Global HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Critical Policy Issues, and courses on the U.S. healthcare system and on global health.
