Freshman Orientation Program Endowment
$ 2,000,000 1 opportunity
Freshman Orientation, which occurs at the end of the preorientation activities, is a required activity for all members of the freshman class. It not only serves as an introduction to Yale College, but it is also the one opportunity to engage the entire freshman class simultaneously in discussions about the expectations the College makes of all undergraduates, particularly as it relates to the social, residential environment that fosters community and respect for individuals. This endowment would underwrite orientation programming, such as social events, guest speakers, and meals.
