Multiple opportunities
The Science and Quantitative Reasoning Center facility will serve as the focal point for undergraduate education in science and quantitative reasoning. It will house classrooms designed to support cutting-edge science teaching; provide resources for course development and enhancement; will administer existing and new programs of undergraduate research; will host symposia and other activities to enrich the undergraduate research experience; will oversee an expanded math and science tutoring program; and will serve as the central tutoring facility in core science and quantitative reasoning disciplines. Equally important, the Science Center will promote the development of a sense of community by bringing together faculty and students with shared interests.
