The Yale Women Faculty Forum (WFF) works to promote scholarship on gender and scholarship about and by women across all of Yale’s schools; to foster gender equity throughout the university; and to promote collegiality and networking on these issues among faculty, students, administration, and alumnae. Among the projects undertaken since its founding, the WFF has sponsored conferences on women in science, hosted a seminar series exploring diversity and gender in universities, and published reports on the childcare needs of faculty and on the status of women within the university. The WFF seeks additional funding to accomplish its goals of research and programming and to continue its relationships with departments and ongoing programs. Gifts establishing endowed funds will support programs and conferences, scholars in residence, and stipends for research.
