Dwight Hall
$ 100,000 Multiple opportunities
Dwight Hall is a nonprofit organization founded by Yale undergraduates in 1886 to promote community service and social justice. Dwight Hall’s mission—to foster civic-minded student leaders and to promote service and activism in New Haven and around the world—is daily realized by the approximately 2,500 Yale undergraduates who volunteer with more than one hundred community organizations and provide over 100,000 hours of service annually. Among the programs currently affiliated with Dwight Hall are the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project; Christmas in April; Reach Out Speak Out; and FOCUS on New Haven. Gifts of $100,000 or more to endow Dwight Hall will provide permanent support for staff and programs, continuing a tradition of meaningful work throughout New Haven and beyond.
