Hendrie Hall Renovation

Multiple opportunities
Hendrie Hall has long housed the major music ensembles of both Yale College and the School of Music, including the band, the glee club, and two orchestras. Plans for the renovation call for a large addition that will include an orchestra hall, a digital recording studio, and a much needed commons that will provide an informal gathering space for musicans from all parts of the University. Most important, the renovation will create a greater number of individual practice rooms and faculty studios, as well as chamber music and large ensemble rehearsal spaces for graduate and undergraduate students. Spaces throughout Hendrie Hall provide multiple opportunities for lasting recognition to those whose leadership support provides capital funds for the renovation of this much used building. Donors may support this project with a range of capital gifts beginning at $50,000.
