Public Health Student Research Fund

$ 100,000   25 opportunities

The majority of master’s students at the Yale School of Public Health are required to complete a research thesis by the end of their second year. The thesis provides an opportunity to engage in supervised inquiry using the methods and tools of public health. Using their experiences in communities, laboratories, and clinical settings to identify and research an issue, students discover the joys of research and the rewards of contributing new knowledge. In the doctoral program, students examine some of the most critical issues and challenges in public health and apply their growing mastery of research methods to generate new findings and discoveries.

The student research fund will be a permanent source of support to help defray the costs of research, including travel, special equipment, advanced consultation, and other expenses.
