Yale SOM offers the opportunity for a number of students to get classroom and research experience as graduate teaching assistants. Students benefit tremendously from the chance to work alongside faculty members, engaging in and supporting research projects that give them invaluable, “hands-on” experience with data analysis and methodology. Both MBA and Ph.D. students are eligible to be teaching assistants, and regardless of the student’s intended career path, experience as a teaching assistant promotes skill development by sharpening public presentation, project management, and research practices.
