To ensure that SOM is a vital contributor to the growing body of research in all management fields and to the University mission of research excellence, Yale SOM faculty require support for the development of new research initiatives. Gifts directed to research have enabled Yale SOM to become a leader in the emerging field of behavioral finance, to produce significant work on competition and antitrust behavior, and to make important contributions to the field of corporate governance, both domestically and from a global perspective. These endowed gifts have enormous impact on the character and reputation of the School and are felt far beyond Yale.
