One of the great joys of life at Yale is the tireless creativity of the people on this campus. Students and faculty bring enthusiasm to their work that is deeply invigorating, and their ideas lead to breakthroughs in the lab, the classroom, and the community. Through formal programs and their own interests, they continually expand what they know and what they are capable of doing.

The President’s Fund exists to fuel this activity, opening new avenues of discovery and channeling resources to the pursuit of novel ideas. The fund supports new courses, technology, and research. It pays for student travel abroad and their participation in competitions, performances, and community service projects of every variety. This flexible funding also helps to launch specialized programs and to seed campus-wide initiatives. Donors may take part in this special fund with gifts to permanently endow its activities.
