The introduction in fall 2006 of the Ph.D. degree marks ten years of increasing growth and success in the development of YSN’s research programs. YSN is among the top six nursing schools in the U.S. receiving NIH funding. This success is characterized by the YSN’s outstanding faculty and their research activities. Endowed fellowships support nurse scientists in the doctoral program who, through their original research and scholarly inquiry, advance the profession and practice of nursing.
