Deanship of the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies

$ 5,000,000   1 opportunity   1 funded

The dean of Forestry & Environmental Studies is the School’s academic and reputational leader—the individual most visibly associated with the School, both within Yale and externally. An endowed deanship supports the salary and associated costs of this key position and will do so in perpetuity. More importantly, it helps ensure the School’s ability to attract and retain leaders of the highest quality, scholars capable of articulating and realizing the most compelling vision. A permanent named deanship not only honors the distinguished occupants who so benefit, but also honors the donor whose name—and legacy—will be permanently linked with a succession of outstanding deans and with the School itself.
