Junior Conservator in Paintings and Objects

$ 1,500,000   2 opportunities

Junior conservators at the assistant or associate level work as a team with the senior conservators to care for and treat the collection. The junior positions also give emerging professionals in the field an opportunity to train with the gallery’s staff. Dedicated to being a learning environment, the gallery seeks to further develop the skills of these professionals, enabling them to bring the expertise they acquire at Yale to other museums as their careers advance. Endowment of these positions will provide a permanent source to defray costs associated with salary and benefits, while freeing funds that can be used to meet other gallery priorities.
