Faculty International Research Fund

$ 100,000   20 opportunities

Yale’s future lies in supporting the next generation of scholars. To attract and retain a strong cadre of junior faculty across a wide range of international disciplines, The MacMillan Center must provide the resources that enable them to pursue the research that feeds their scholarship and informs the classes they teach. Yale’s talented junior faculty are highly sought-after by other universities, and supporting them in their early career development is the best strategy to retain them. Faculty research serves to engage undergraduate and graduate students in key international issues and trains them to ask and seek answers from a broad array of sources. A named faculty research fund can be established for work on specific issues or areas of the world, such as research on elections, African Studies, and many others.
