Yale’s graduate students carry on active research in collaboration with graduate faculty advisors. Often this research leads to publications and presentations at academic conferences. Additionally, work on the dissertation can require travel to all parts of the globe to access original sources and investigate specific research opportunities. The Dean’s Research Fund for Student Research and Travel will be a permanent source of funding for to assist Yale graduate students traveling to present papers or conduct research.
