Teaching is one of the most critical jobs that will be performed by tomorrow’s generation of university professors. The Graduate Teaching Center provides a wide array of teaching enhancement services to teaching fellows and anyone else teaching at Yale. Publications, workshops, and individual consultations help prepare Yale’s graduate students for their teaching responsibilities. Financial support would help provide additional programming, enhanced services, increased staffing, and expanded resources available to students. Ultimately, permanent endowments would help underwrite the activities and directorship of this vital center.
