The Senior Curator of Coins and Medals is responsible for the research, care, and presentation of Yale’s extraordinary numismatic collection. Jointly serving as a professor in the Department of Classics, the curator actively employs the collection in teaching undergraduate and graduate students each semester. Endowment of this position will provide a permanent source to defray costs associated with salary and benefits, while freeing funds that can be used to meet other gallery priorities.
