$ 50,000,000 1 opportunity
In early 2010, Yale University Health Services will move into a new facility at the intersection of Canal and Lock streets, a convenient location that links the science area with Yale’s residential colleges and athletic facilities. Designed by Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects of Atlanta, the building will house all clinical services for Yale’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and for the more than 70 percent of Yale staff and faculty who choose the Yale Health Plan for medical care for themselves and their families.
Suffused with natural light, and designed and constructed in alignment with Yale’s commitment to sustainability for all new construction on campus, the five-story facility will offer state-of-the-art clinical care in a structure that is comfortable and functional. A wide range of diagnostic and treatment procedures will be available on-site, and the design’s flexibility will accommodate changes in Yale’s population and advances in medical services and procedures far into the future.
A leadership gift of $50,000,000 will be recognized with the naming of the facility.
