Engineering Technology Facility Fund
$ 250,000 Multiple opportunities
In an age of rapid technological growth, top research institutions must have cutting-edge facilities and equipment. With research teams in the Dunham, Becton, and Mason buildings as well as the new Malone Center, the School of Engineering & Applied Science is challenged to provide the necessary facilities and equipment for Engineers. Shared facilities in imaging, device fabrication, high-performance computing, and materials characterization—and the specialized staffing associated with these facilities—are critical for the success of the School’s research program. Equally important, these facilities enrich the educational experience for Yale’s undergraduate and graduate students, who are encouraged to utilize these state-of-the-art tools—equipment which, at other major research universities, is not available to students. Capital gifts of $250,000 or more for engineering facilities help Yale meet this need and have the additional effect of attracting new research dollars. It is our goal to raise $15,000,000 for these state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
As Engineering expands its faculty and student body, the need to provide state-of-the-art laboratories grows more urgent. Donors can help Yale provide excellent facilities to engineering faculty, students, and staff.
