Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Fund
$ 100,000 Multiple opportunities
A cornerstone of an undergraduate’s engineering experience is research either at Yale or in industry. Over 90 percent of science and engineering majors perform research during the school year and many continue to do so full time during the summer to further their research work and experience. Conducting original research on subjects from nanowires to holographic optical tweezers, students gain valuable, hands-on experience that prepares them for graduate studies or professions in the engineering industry. A minimum gift of $100,000 will establish a permanent endowment to ensure that students can gain critical summer research experience in one of Yale’s laboratories or at a leading engineering and technology company as part of their undergraduate training.
