Engineering Graduate Fellowship
$ 100,000 Multiple opportunities
Yale is determined to increase the numbers of students engaged in graduate study in engineering. Endowed fellowships allow the School to attract the best students and provide them with the flexibility to explore new areas of study without being limited to specific departments or disciplines. To this end, Engineering seeks to establish new fellowship funds that may be used in applied physics, biomedical, chemical, electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering or in new interdisciplinary research areas.
Graduate fellows play a critical role in the growth of our research-based School through the generation of new ideas. Graduate students bring a vibrancy to research laboratories that allows for better collaboration and activity among professors, undergraduates, and other graduate students. Gifts of $100,000 or more will be combined to form ten permanent funds of $1,000,000 each, supplying a steady flow of financial aid to engineering students at the graduate level.
