Writing Section Teaching Fellow

The Yale College Writing Center works with faculty and graduate students across the disciplines to develop writing requirement (WR) discussion sections for a variety of courses ranging from political science to ecology and evolutionary biology. Writing sections help undergraduates improve their writing skills while also strengthening the ability of graduate students to incorporate writing pedagogy into their teaching. A gift of $150,000 will create an endowment to support one or more teaching fellows. A gift of $18,000,000 will endow the entire Writing Section Teaching Fellows Program and provide in perpetuity support for 120 or more WR discussion sections annually.
