Complementing the regular faculty, many visiting artists come to the School of Art for sustained periods of interaction with students and faculty. The School is eager to expand its program for distinguished visiting artists, who offer individual critiques, workshop seminars, and formal lectures in various departments. An endowed artist-in-residence fellowship enables the School to draw major national and international figures from painting, sculpture, graphic design or photography—visitors who bring temendous value to the entire art community at Yale.
