Educational Technology Fund - Architecture

$ 100,000   20 opportunities

In the past decade, the Yale School of Architecture has come to lead in the theory and practice of new technologies now revolutionizing the building industry. To keep its students on the forefront of this change, the School emphasizes traditional techniques of architectural representation while exploring the creative use of digital design and digital fabrication techniques. As technology becomes more complex, it requires an ongoing investment in the latest equipment and software, as well as continual curricular revitalization to keep pace with practice and to set new standards. The School must constantly expand and upgrade its technical resources in all of these areas and retain specialized staff to maintain and operate the equipment. Endowment funding to underwrite purchases, leases, materials, and support for technical staff enables the School to provide the kind of facilities that both graduate and undergraduate architecture students require to become the leaders in the profession.
